This section is for those of you who would like to paint the frame of your bicycle at home using cans of spray paint. I will include links to companies I think carry paint suitable for this job. For right now I can seem to find only four good ones.

• GLASURIT   Some folks is switching to BASF's world class acrylic Glasurit® topcoat. "The excellent Glasurit® reputation is backed by its outstanding productivity and exceptional results. Glasurit® paints employ state-of-the-art European technology that gives you rich, liquid color and deep brilliant gloss that define a world-class finish". Many color choices available.
   
• NEW BIKE FOR $100!   This guy will tell you how to paint your bicycle.

When you remove all the components off a bicycle frame you end up with something that is quite light in weight and easy to ship by UPS or some other common carrier. You might consider sending your frame to one of the online powder coating businesses for a really nice paint job hopefully.

1. CARTER SPRAY FINISHING   "In addition to our production facilities for manufacturers of metal products requiring powder coating, we also do single items such as lawn furniture, motorcycle frames, Bicycle Frames and other consumer items".
2. SPECTRUM POWDER WORKS   They look like they might like to paint bicycle frames and components.
3. CUSTOM POWDER COATING   Looks like they might be pretty high quality, but i have not used their services personally.
4. ANDREWS POWDER COATING   They do bicycles also.
5. LOOMIS POWDER COATING   Loomis has a bicycle powder coating price sheet.
6. TIGER DRYLAC   A good source for color charts. I think this company specializes in selling powder coating to the finishers - they do not apply coatings to items for the consumer.
