Singlespeed bicycles:   Cool to ride around town and to work.

1. ALIEN BIKES     I think a new website offering singlespeed parts. "Alien Bikes exists to provide fixed gear purists with the gear they need, but can't get locally. It's nice to support your local bike shop, but you can't expect them to have all manner of fixed gear stuff and expect it to be inexpensive too. By all means, buy your tires, your bars, your seats, your whatever at the LBS, and then turn with a clean conscience to Alien Bikes for your real fix".
2. MOTOBECANE     I think this is the only singlespeed bike that they sell.
3. SE BIKES   This company specializes in BMX bikes but also carries a line of nice singlespeed bikes in both 700c and 26in. wheels.  
4. SWOBO   This business has 3 very neat bicycles for sale - two single-speeds and one three speed. Nice bikes.
5. NYCBIKES     This small business located in Brooklyn NY puts together for sale these neat bikes which include a number of singlespeeders. They ship custom built bikes anywhere and check out their very reasonable prices.
6. ON-ONE   Based in England with a very good website and lots of goodies. They sell a lot of single-speed items including complete bicycles. They ship to the US and in fact have a warehouse or office or representative in the US.
7. GIANT BICYCLES   Giant sells a nice looking single-speed called the "Bowery". "Built for the professional messenger, the Bowery is Giant's ultra-refined, single-speed city bike. The Bowery comes stock with hand brakes and a freewheel or can be set up as a fixed hub (sprocket included)".
8. PHAT TIRE   A couple of items they sell would be the following plus a lot of other things: 2007 Voodoo wanga one single-speed mountain bike frame & Gusset 1er single-speed hub conversion - converts an HG splined cassette hub to a single-speed. 9. MASI BICYCLES   Check out their "Speciale Fixed" model. A very lovely single-speeder.
10. NINER BIKES   They sell single-speed 29 inch wheeled bicycles plus parts, frames & accessories.

12. FIXED INNOVATIONS   "This site is primarily for people who want to convert their multi-speed bicycles with vertical rear dropouts to fixed-gear or single-speed use. 14. PHIL WOOD   They sell a MTB single-speed hub.
15. SURLY BIKES   They sell complete bikes, framesets and parts. In my opinion Surly is a little different than most and their product line reflects it. But not bad - just different. They have what appears to be several different single-speed framesets. Real nice stuff though.

16. SPEED GOAT BICYCLES   They sell customizable bicycles and many bicycle parts. A very good website loaded with many different bicycle parts and accessories. They are located in Laughlintown, Pennsylvania. Included for sale items used in Singlespeed bikes, Twenty-Niner bikes & Commuting bikes.
17. PAUL COMPONENT ENGINEERING   Nice new website! 18. FIXED GEAR GALLERY   "An incredible picture collection of fixed gear bicycles from around the world". This most excellent website is worth viewing even if you are not interested in singlespeed bicycles. A very fine resource for those looking for ideas and products suitable for building your own bike. Check the "fixedroadreview" section for articles on bicycle parts and accessories.
19. CHRIS KING PRECISION COMPONENTS   They sell a singlespeed hub amoung other components.
20. SHELDON BROWN   They have a single-speed section.
21. WHITE INDUSTRIES   They sell precision bicycle components.
22. VAN DESSEL SPORTS   As far as i can tell they sell one beautiful singlespeed bike: The famous "Country Road Bob".
23. MISFITPSYCLES   They offer a wide variety of parts from small items to complete bicycles.

27. SYCIP (see-cip)   "Java Boy" is the model of interest. Looks to be a very well made single-speed.
28. COOK BROS RACING   These are "single-speed" bikes and appear to be beautifully made and on the higher priced side in my opinion. But worth checking out because they are so beautiful.
